HAHAHA. That's funny. I don't think it's that bad because kids aren't really gonna get the joke.

It has nothing to do with the joke. It has everything to do with being a professional and not being an idiot. You don't do that on TV and especially in front of the guy. You think Irvin's wife and kids thought it was funny?

I really hate seeing Faulk's face on my TV.

EDIT: And dang, this should have been in the NFL zone I guess.
One could argue that Irvin saying Ding Dongs could be viewed as being just as dirty and Marshall saying Ho Hos.

Either way...with all that is going on, that little joke does not register on my give a darn meter.

For the record...I think many of our fans would be better off if they just flat out ignored stuff from NFL channel or ESPN if it bothers them that much.

SO one guy makes a statement that is absurd and ignorant and we should just stop watching the channel? Really?

And Irvin answered the question honestly and I doubt anyone would think his answer was directed at Faulk. Unless Faulk is gay then it would be something. But Faulk blatantly made the crude remark at Irvin's expense. I doubt Irvin's wife found that amusing.

I'm on the same page with this comment from Faulk.

It's a joke, it's silly and from what I understand they are pretty good friends. If you can't make fun of your buddies, and yourself...you need a good slap in the head.

Grow some thicker skin Cajun.

I guess my standards are a bit higher than some then.

No, not only because of this statement. There are a litany of reasons to not watch these shows. For most, this was so minor and silly that it doesn't even register.

Just out of curiosity, how did Irvin react to it?

For the record, I can't stand Faulk.

It's not about having a higher standard. You're just using a different one.

I caught this and honestly thought that Marshall was playing the guy (ding dongs) girl (ho hos) angle, not Faulk making fun of Mike's excessive womanizing back in the day.

Pretty much the kind of joke I suspect they say off set all the time.

Irvin got loud about it. Didn't look like he was real happy with it.

Yeah, it's a different standard, which is higher.

I didn't see it that way at all and from Irvin's reaction I didn't think he did either.
