I'm loving the odds most of this weekends games go our way.
Washington @ Dallas - Tough game, but we're favored.
Minny @ Chicago - This should be a slam dunk.
Atlanta @ Tampa Bay - Another tough one. This could be huge for us.
Seattle @Miami - I know Miami sucks but east coast trips have historically been difficult for west coast teams. We need this one.
San Fran @ New Orleans - Could go either way.
Green Bay @ Giants - I'm most confident this one goes our way.

We now have a 58% chance of making the playoffs. If we win on Thursday, that goes up to at least a 68% chance. If we win and the Packers win (over the Giants), we'll have a 73% chance of making the playoffs.

Atlanta @ Tampa Bay - we could be competing against TB for a WC
Seattle @ Miami - would be great for an AFC team do help us out in beating this potential WC contender
Sunday 4PM EST
San Fran @ New Orleans- NO could be another WC contender
St. Louis @ Arizona - AZ a potential WC contender
Green Bay @ Giants - division
Monday
Carolina @ Philly - no real implications but I just don't like Philly

I wouldn't even waste the time coming up with wildcard tiebreakers, it clear the path to the playoffs is the same one to the top of the division, there is no way the NFC East is producing two playoff teams this year.

Yup, it's the division or nothing which is why we have to win 2 out of these 3 games
Bengals
Steelers
Saints

We will struggle with Wash unless they turn the ball over more than us.
Chicago needs Cutler back...if so then yeah...if not then meh.
TB could upset the Falcons at home but I doubt it.
Seattle/Miami are both a little schizoid but Seattle should win.
NO will beat SF IMO but this should be a good one.
GB will embarrass them. Muhaha!
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Interesting site. According to them, if the worst case scenario happens this weekend (we lose, Giants beat Packers), the odds almost completely reverse - our chances of not making the playoffs are 69%.
Guess we better win.

It's likely they are currently projecting us to win the division on a division W-L tiebreaker and thus the discrepancy on one games result.

Yep. The interesting thing about their stats this week, is that the Giants losing or winning against Green Bay doesn't affect our chances that much...only a 5% difference either way. I guess they're figuring the Giants difficult upcoming schedule will likely catch up to them regardless of this week.
What the heck, I still think I'll root against the Giants this week anyway.

You don't have to root for them to lose, it's the best bet of the week to put your money on the pack

I was thinking just the opposite. They've lived off turnovers and can't really see losing to them unless we're -2 or worse in that department.
I'll take a break even with them to the bank. There defense won't stop us.
