If Smith plays, do you bench Free?
And put Parnell at RT. I would, it would send a message not only to Free but to the rest of the team. If you stink up the joint, you are riding the pine.
Of course, Garrett would never do that.

You mean RT? No. Free has shown much better play than Parnell ( just not of late)?and while neither of them are stellar options the last thing we need is another moving part on the line

I think you do. I belive you meant put Parnell at (RT).
It makes sense from a football standpoint, but Free is getting paid a lot of money so its not so good for business. We shall see.

Even if he sucks I'd have a hard time sitting a guy that's getting paid 4 years 32 mil.
Reminds me when Roy Williams basically played himself off the field while simultaneously pulling 10 mil per.

Free and the entire oline will play darn good today. Romo will have plenty of time and will pick their secondary apart.

This. We need more continuity not less.

Me=Yes.
Cowboys=No.
Parnell just needs experience. Hopefully, he does so well in replacing TS today, that they are forced to let him replace Free when TS does return. (i.e. The Miles Austin replacing Roy Williams scenario.)
In re-watching the last game, none of Parnells' problems were physical. He just made the type of mistakes that you would expect from an inexperienced player.
Free, on the other hand, has the same physical limitations that he had last year. He just does not have the required upper body strength.

I wouldn't do it with the short week, But for next game yes. I think you put Parnell in during their layoff. Hopefully Romo can last this game.

with no practice reps? no
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

I would put Parnell in at RT for Free NEXT week, but i'm a fan. I'm sure the coaches wont make a change barring injury.

this team needs a kick to the head
Benching Free for bad play would be a good thing from the point of view of making everyone aware that they can be replaced
the sense of entitlement that this team has had needs to be destroyed
When you keep playing Ogletree despite his bad play when other options are available it sends a bad message
Bench both of them and play someone else.
