Favorite American Vacation spots?
Our family has traveled all over but our favorite vacations were right here in America.
For the family to get away we all love Disney World.
For just my wife and I we love to go to the cabin in the Smokey Mountains.
Where do you like to vacation?

Disney World is great, I have to say. I take the son out a few times each year to either FL or Cali for some sun and fun. He is not much into the Disney thing though, even though, we have a good time when visiting.
His thing is roller coasters. The bigger the better.
We will be heading back to Cali when the weather warms up more.

Been to most of the states here in the US and have enjoyed my stay in almost every one of them. If there was one place I enjoyed to the point I would consider moving there it was Virginia.
The one place I had doubts about but ended up really enjoying was outside of Boston Mass.
I never stay in the large cities if I can help it I always stay outside of them. That way I can get peace and relaxation or trave into the city to see the sights and enjoy what a city has to offer. Even Philly was not bad but then I stayed at Valley Forge

USA - Yellowstone park/Grand Tetons
Central/Latin America - Amberguese Cay, Belize (for SCUBA)
Europe - Amsterdam (not for smoking reasons)

If he loves Roller Coasters...take a look at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.
Place is just killer if you love the Coasters plus it is right on Lake Erie so you have that nice setting.

Although they are not states...don't forget
Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. I would love to go back to St Thomas USVI.
I would also like to go down to the Florida Keys.
I don't need mountains the like...I see plenty of Mountains off my back porch.

Italy (we did a tour of the boot) and Paris were my two favourite holidays.
Scotland was nice too but cold as hell.
NYC was great as was SF and Disneyland/Walt Disney World.

Haven't traveled alot, beyond family destinations, but I think my favorite trip to date was skiing in Colorado last year.
It was my first time skiing and I really, really enjoyed myself, even though I was deathly afraid of being on the ski lifts. We're talking about going back next year.
My friends like to go on cruises and the like, but I don't really like the water like that.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

I did enjoy Orlando on a recent trip there... Didn't go to Disney World. Instead we went to Universal Studios. It was really cool. Gonna try to go back next year, too.

To Vacation: Alaska, I want to honeymoon there eventually when we actually make professional-level salary (both the hubby and I are in school).
To live: DMV area, denver (300 days of sun! Yes please), west coast (Cali, Oregon, or Washington)
 WANTED. NEEDED. DESTINED.
Go farther, Go further, Go harder. Is that not why we came? And if not, then why bother?
