Newman- That's why we let you go
Hands on the ball for the game clinching pick, and as usual, it falls to the floor. I don't miss that at all.

He had 2 near picks in this game. Per usual, hands of stone.

It was finally nice to see where all those millions went when Carr sucked up that pick. But yeah, Newman had some pan hands today. Id like him to have a nice year aside from playing Dallas.

I can't understand how his hands could be so bad.
Some guys have it, some don't I guess. No doubt he's done some grabbing drills. Just a heat of the moment reflex type of things I guess.

Poetic justice, he had interfered on the play anyway.

A friend of mine who's a Bengals fan was raging on facebook last night about how lucky we where he dropped those picks. I tried to explain to him that i've seen enough of Newman over the years to say it had nothing to do with luck

One of my pet theories about football is that if you could isolate it statistically the ratio of dropped interceptions to caught interceptions would correlate strongly to the standings. I'm now calling it the Newman Theory.

Glad to hear this.
Also, it was really nice to hear this week how much respect Mike Zimmer gets around the league for the good work he does at DC. It seems like just yesterday I was answering threads asking me just what I saw in Zimmer that could possibly defend his tenure as an NFL defensive coordinator. That was before the Sean-Payton-as-offensive-coordinator and Wade-Phillips-defensive-threads started up, of course. Good times.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee
