I'm thinking you don't really mean Seymour is the only DL worth a first round pick.

One of the best DL I've ever seen doesn't get a lot of 'stats' but he makes his defense much much better....Vince Wilfork.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

If the purpose of this thread is truly to congratulate a young man on his success in the NFL then I'm all for it. He's been good this season.

If the purpose of this thread is to rue not taking Brockers in the draft then it's completely flawed for numerous reasons.

A.) Draft for talent, not for need... Mo' Claiborne has more potential as a CB than Brockers as a DL.

B.) Would Brockers even be successful as a 3-4 DE? I have a feeling that he wouldn't be.

C.) It's way to early to tell for either rookie.

And so on an so forth.

Wilfork has been pretty trash this year (from A LOT of Patriot fans). Geno Atkins is the best DL in the league and there's no question about it.

Umm.. Patriot fans must be as dumb as most Dallas fans if they think that.

Yeah...not sure what games they've been watching, because Wilfork has been far from "trash".

Probably hearing that from the same type of fans that were ready to send Witten packing in week 4.

Psst...it's not like they had the same pricetag.

I still prefer Brockers and Wagner over Claiborne.

that's just not a realistic standard. It would be like if I said Matt Ryan was worth a top 5 pick b/c he doesn't have Peyton Manning like potential.

I would be completely ignoring the bust rate at that position (and for DTs, it almost as high as QBs)

The 6'6 300 pound guy on the Texans DL says otherwise

I liked Brockers, but give me Claiborne.

I know according to our board, Wagner was the BPA at 45, but I still don't think we'd take him.
