WalterFootball projects he will be available. What do people think about him?

I'd give a nut for any FS. Every time there is a deep ball thrown we are screwed.

I like him, he isn't my top safety but I would be very happy with him

Opinions are split on him, but I would take him in the 2nd, although the Cowboys really seem to like Barry Church and Matt Johnson

I have him as the 8th best Safety in the 2013 draft.

Agreed.

I'm actually not as big on this safety class as the experts seem to be. It's better than last year's but I don't think it's a strength of the draft like I've seen some claim.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Nothing special. And even if the next Ed Reed was in this draft, the Cowboys are committed to Sensabaugh, Church and Matt Johnson (for now). And they still love McCray's special teams so I don't see them keeping 5 safeties

Why do people think the cowboys are so high on sensy, church, and matt Johnson. Look at sensy and churchs contracts. Could very easily be released after next year. Also they were very high on Barron last year. Church hasn't proved anything, nor had Johnson and we do not need to rely on mccray again next year.
I think if they can get a good safety they will. I think church is a sensy replacement and I do not see sensy here when his contract starts to hit big money on two years.

If you can get a good safety and can play some downs and step in for sensy or church when one is hurt and can be a starter in year two, then do it.

I'd stay away from anyone who peaked as a sophomore, and then played 2 more seasons of college football.

It's why I wasn't big on Brandon Jenkins from FSU before this year.

I think Mathias Kiwanuka peaked early and has had a good career, but most guys like that amount to little more than didly poo.

No thanks. There's a lot of depth at Safety this year. Go O-Line and D-Line with the first 3 picks, then S in the 4th.
