Bayless came over to my side of the Romo fence recently. Even wrote this super long article on how he finally has to admit Romo will NEVER, EVER win a Superbowl ring. So, not surprised with his comments on him.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"

Romo was the first QB in 20 games vs the Steelers D to throw for 300 + yards.

I don't think most of these comments are anywhere close to the sentiments bayless has for romo. He consistently defends him. What he's saying is this is the first close game he's seen the cowboys win without the right arm of tony romo being responsible for. He's saying that Romo wasn't the culprit nor hero of the game, which he always is.

Not that I give a damn what Bayless says, but he actually complimented the team over an individual. Why is that a bad thing? We need more team wins and we got a complete team win on Sunday.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Did you watch his segment this morning. He complimented the team while bashing Romo...It's the classic, when they lose, it's Romo, when they win, take Romo out of the compliment.

Tell me about. Just another victory against a team without a winning record since the steelers are now7-7.

Cowboys | Tony Romo reaches 4,000-yard mark Mon Dec 17, 05:51 PM
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo reached the 4,000-yard passing mark for the fourth time in his career. No Cowboys quarterback, including former QBs Roger Staubach or Troy Aikman, achieved that feat more than once.

Romo had to be super careful there with that pass to Miles. He put it where it would have to be a great catch but he was very intent on not getting it picked off.

To say ANY QB that has not already won a SB will "never ever" win one is not really sticking your neck out. Especially if they are already over 30 and especially if they don't play on a dominant team. For example, you ould plug in Joe Shmo into the SF lineup and at least have a chance.
Overall however, the odds are way, WAY against any QB winniing a SB.
I think Romo is great, but i would bet 5k he doesn't win a SB this year. Real big gamble. lol

Today Jaws (of all people) said he doesn't know if the Cowboys would win a game without him. Wonder what Skip has to say about that.

And that may not be exaggerating at all.

Why does anyone care what Skip Bayless thinks or says?

That throw to Miles was exactly where it needed to be. The DB had exceptional coverage. It went right through Austin's hands. That was 100% on Austin.
