I told my brother I would have went for two. I just didn't trust the defense to make a stop. Now if that would have been the right thing to do who knows. I also didn't think the offense would sputter like that in OT either.

I was hoping they wouldve went for it. they couldnt have won the division or made the playoffs or been shut out of the playoffs with a win or loss.

I would have gone for two:End the game
1.I didn't like our chances of scoring three straight touchdowns
2.I didn't like our chance at all on defense

There was a good chance they would have all but been eliminated with a loss to N.O. and a Giants win at Baltimore. I don't see NY losing to Philly this week. We would have been a game behind even if we beat Wash.
The thought did cross my mind to go for two but noway do you go for the conversion there. The offense was hot at the time.

I was actually more surprised that the Saints didn't pull their fourth down bluff. They had nothing to play for and there wasn't a person in the stadium who thought the Cowboys could keep them from getting it. I guess there were "integrity of the game" issues...

This. Our offense was torching them. Best thing that could have happened did. We won the toss. Then the worst thing that could of happened did. Our O sputtered.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.
I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

No way. You make it and you're a genius. You don't you might lose your job and you're definitely the laughing stock of the entire NFL. Make that US. No world.
They made a mistake changing the offense in OT. Every time Tony runs wide open offense we get gobs of yardage. Jason was afraid Tony would turn the ball over so he went by the rules.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

I was saying go for two after the first TD. If you miss it you have another chance at 2 just to tie. It seems like a pretty good probability to me.

Where did I say they would have been eliminated? I said all but eliminated. Their only hope would have been for a wildcard (if the Giants won and beat Phil) and would need a lot of help to get that wildcard.
