Romo 1-5 in win or go home games
I just saw on Numbers Never lie that Romo is 1-5 in win or go home games in Week 17 or the postseason. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt he win 2 win or go home games that year we beat Philly in Week 17 and then Philly again in the 1st round of the playoffs? I thought Week 17 against Philly was a must win to get into the playoffs. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, so the one win was the playoff game against Philly, and the 5 losses were the playoff game against Seattle, the playoff game against Minnesota, the playoff loss against the Giants, the Week 17 matchup last year against the Giants, and the Week 17 loss 44-6 against the Eagles.

Right, because he plays both sides of the ball.

We didn't need to beat Philly in week 17 that year to get in. We'd have been the wild card had we lost.
There's always more to the story.

3-4 Romo pro/con threads already and this guys starts yet another one.
Good grief.
Not only that, but he doesn't even have the facts correct in the title.
People will go to no ends to hammer Tony.
Anyway, by this premis. Every QB in the league except one ends his season each year with a lose and you are out loss.
It just depends on what point in the season that elimination occurs. If your team so a borderline playoff team, then that could be week 16 or 17 and most likely a tough game...because by definaton your team is barley good enough.
If your team sucks, then the same will happen, but maybe by week 12-13 or so.

People must think we have 53 Romos on the active roster.

Funny, the last 5 games have pretty much been win or go home and we've won almost all of them.

Either way it doesn't matter, it comes down to sunday. No one is going to say the cowboys couldn't get it done in a winner take all game, but man that win over the bengals a few weeks ago was impressive.

You're right, nobody will say the Cowboys couldn't. They'll say Romo couldn't. Doesn't matter that he dragged this team out of the gutter to even be in contention and that the D is decimated with injuries.
