Default Ron Brace

If he clears waivers i hope the Cowboys pick this guy up. Decent guy who never got on the field because of Wilfork basically. 6'3 330 is better than anybody Dallas has right now to play NT

I liked Brace coming out of BC myself. He was never able to beat out Wilfork and then the Pats went to a 43 and Brace just didn't really fit as well as some of their other options. Brace has experience at both NT and DE in a 34. I think he would be worth a look if we could be lucky enough to claim him.

these are the two guys i would like to have also. brace does not provide any push. i watch several patriot games and he does not move people. a guy his size should be able to create havoc and never really saw it in him.

Like Jimmy Johnson said, " Just dont give me dumb players".

Georgia's John Jenkins out for bowl game due to academics.

Dumb in school doesn't mean dumb at football though.

Yes. I often look at the DL and ask how we can get fatter, slower, less athletic, and less of a pass rush.

Jerry Jones: "I don't know when I've ever seen a player impress our staff without having played in a ball game any more than Matt Johnson."

Didnt know the Pats waived him. There used to be a poster here that had some serious Brace love.

he let down his team in a important game that is just dumb. Also on a DL benching 600 lbs does not help a defensive guy like an Oline guy. DL needs more power from legs because Williams gets pushed back alot.

I'd love either of those guys or Sharif Floyd.

All I've ever seen him do is tie up multiple blockers and make plays.

I hope they use the draft picks on other positions and consider signing Free Agent Terrance Knighton. He is now listed at 330 lbs and was much more athletic than Ron Brace in pre-draft workouts. The Jags were attempting to switch to a 3-4 when they drafted Knighton, but have since switched back to a 4-3. Knighton has been phased out in favor of smaller, quicker DTs.

How many draft busts have has Bellicheck had in recent years and managed not to get called out on?

They squandered most of those numerous 2nd round picks they kept trading back to accumulate.
Best Oline for Cowboys:

LT: Free LG: Mankins C: Gurode RG: Holland RT:Young (or an early draft pick)

Hatcher = better overall player than Spears (equal run stopping; better pass rushing)
