Default Has Henson's Stock Risen in Parcells Eyes?

Sensed some newfound optimism in Parcells voice as he spoke about how hard Henson is working this off-season. 4500 passes? Would be nice if Q. Morgan and R. Williams were the ones on the receiving ends of these to work on those hands. Nevertheless, seems Henson is the 'future' in BMT's plans. Anyone?

Apparently Randal Williams caught 1 of those 4500 passes.

HE TOOK 4500 Rips at curve balls too. Didn't help.

Glad he's practicing in the off season. Thought all back up QB's did that?
Starters usually have to balance it out to last the season.

I dont think anything's changed at all...everyone percieved what happened last yr as "Parcells obviously doesnt like him!" and going overboard, when all along it was exactly what Parcells said it was...he wasnt ready

I was really PO'd Parcells didnt play him the last few games of the season, but he stuck to his guns...said he wouldnt play him if he wasnt ready

Henson is gonna be a good QB...why so many here seem to cheer for him to fail or want to see him replaced with some rag tag like McPherson, Romo etc etc is beyond me...he will look like a vastly different player this yr in TC and preseason

David

A new era begins

I think youre right. Bledsoe might be the starter by default but should he go down with injury or struggle, Henson might grab it and nevver look back in spite of Parcells short window of success.

I don't see anything wrong with having McPherson and Henson both on the roster. Let them battle it out to see who's the better QB in a couple years and let the loser be a backup. Nothing wrong with having talent at backup, especially when you're not having to pay much for it.

LMAO

Of course, hitting a curve ball is a lot harder than being hit by a blitzing linebacker!

No we heard it from Sean Taylor 1st. ROFL!!!
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

Well put David, Hensen will be fine, he now knows the offense and will be able to react & let his talents out vs having to think to much last year...

I was happy to hear the way Parcells said it..."he's thrown 4500 passes" then he paused, and repeated it with emphasis... "4500"

So, if he doesn't make it, it won't be because of a lack of effort...

Actually, quite a few people have expressed their Crayton support, but I'm with you. Just about everything he showed last year was positive. We're overdue for a late round find!
