Absolutely.
Love to have Sparano as an assistant to Garrett for playcalling as well as Callahan with the OL. Heck he can coach the TEs, too.
He's done all that.
We need the help and Romo needs guys that have had success with him. Garrett hasn't acheived that at all.
This would be way better than I would hope for for the offense to get fixed.
Garrett is going to get one more year to fix the team and having I current and 2 former HCs in the wings is not bad.
And it wouldn't be hard to slide the best candidate into the HC role at any point in the season if things don't start out well again.
And I'd like the pressure on Garrett. Maybe he'll perform better when some of his secuity blanket is removed and he needs to manup.
