GROZ

I'll admit I was part of it..and can also admit I was wrong. He wasn't the root of the problem but took a lot of the blame. Doing pretty well in Cincinnatti now

I just have to think this is part of just something larger and behind the scenes JG is being accountable and truly trying to make this team better

Im not saying Rob and Peete shouldnt have been fired, but if the message is the job wasnt good enough, i dont see how Garrett keeps his job. Cause he was just as bad if not worse
He lost credibility with me at the start when he mentioned the lack of a commitment to the running game.

When you have no talent up front to run the ball, you better have no commitment to it. I don't want to bang my head against the wall for 3 hours expecting stiffs to turn into players. If that's the hand I'm dealt, I'm committed to Romo carrying the offense. Win or lose.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

We had a good defense in 2009 under Wade.

That's how it works though. Now he's quality. Like Sean Payton. Man he sucked here. LOL. Over his head. ------- Now he's a football savior.

Guess what happens when Garrett leaves?

Tick tock.

If he wanted to make the team better, he'd bring in an Offensive Coordinator.

I'm thinking Jerry is just screwing with reds mind, saw style.

He's making him fire all his assistants and get his face ripped off by nipple pins, only to fire him anyway when it's all over. It's the perfect crime.

That's my hope at this point. Bring in or turn over OC duties and with Ryan being fired we have an opportunity to upgrade the DC and possibly switch back to the 4-3 depending on the DC.

That is, unless Jerry dictates the defensive scheme BEFORE he hires the DC :-)

Zimmer didn't play to win. I have no problem with him being fired.

Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

Nothing. Payton and Zimmer have skins. How can you even compare the three?

........alot of us feel this way and as much as I hate Al Jr. and his "gm" skills or lack thereof it appears to me he is basically saying: "Ok Red, I forced Rob down your throat and the defense hasn't performed, so now we will go with your guy (Horton?) but the offense hasn't been up to snuff either, so I am going to bring in an OC as well like it or not."

As someone said earlier, it's what Houston did with Kubiak who was teetering on the brink and not getting results: similar to situation with Red and Dallas. Will it work? Probably not if history is an indicator, but.....it's the way I read what he's doing right now.

Yeah, but Kubiak's side of the ball was always good once he got a QB, it was the defense that was abysmal. Not the case here.

Exactly and Kubiak is still a bad game manager. The Texans offense was never a problem. He just hired his buddies as D Coordinator and was foreced to hire Wade to save his tail.

I think it was the right move... Might be time to go back to the Dallas traditional 4-3 defense.
