Lost In the Who Is to Blame for RG3's Injury Fallout
I've seen Shanahan blamed. I've seen the player himself blamed. I've seen Dr. Andrews blamed. I've seen the trainers blamed.
That field was in awful shape.

I don't think it's been lost, just hasn't garnered as much attention because nothing could be done for the field in short notice. I've seen plenty of local media outlets going off about the field conditions.
Why, Snyder, who has no problem spending the money necessary to make the team successful hasn't dropped the dough down for a quality field is beyond me. I want the type of field the Ravens have, and if that doesn't get done during the off-season, I can assure you Snyder will get ripped for it.

Snyder will get ripped? Oh know....don't get all CRAZY eyes and "RIP" Snyder.
The man must be having fits knowing this could very well be a possibility.

Do Redskins fans honestly believe Susan Harjo and/or other Native American litigants put a curse on the team?
I would love it if they did by the way.

I haven't seen anything on it from ESPN and the others who think this is the biggest injury since Theismann's leg break.

I hate to make excuses but our players couldn't run right on that POS . Our rbs and WRs couldn't cut , if that game was on a half decent field we would've won .

A growing number, including myself, do. Just too much has gone wrong in the last 20 years.
The Seattle game was a travesty. Out to a 14-0 lead to give us hope, then total ineptitude afterwards. That just does not happen normally in the NFL. Total dominance through one quarter then complete collapse.
You almost wonder if we were allowed to win the NFC East to make the letdown that much worse in the playoff game.

It was Shanahan's fault. Plain and simple. Shanahan can see and walk on that field himself. He has to have the common sense to know that his FRANCHISE QB with a bum knee probably shouldn't play on that field so soon after injuring his knee.
ANd I thought pushing the blame towards Dr. Andrews was gutless on Shanahan's fault.

Honestly, I think local sports media have likely mentioned it since many of them have been complaining about the field for years. Now it's a big "I told ya so!" for sports radio guys to pat themselves on the back.
As for the fanbase on a whole, I think more people are upset at Shanahan for allowing him to go back on the field, knowing the field conditions would be a factor in the chances of making his injury worse. The field didn't cause the initial injury, so no one makes it their chief concern.
Regardless, get some artificial grass and save yourself some grief.
