Default dunno......

he's a great offensive mind but.....he wouldn't be around to kick around my college team anymore. Mixed feelings....most say he's doing it to leverage a big raise from ND. I would tend to agree, plus he's always been a guy that has to feel loved: he will after this is over. Probly double his salary.

This Irish fan sure hopes it's just to get a better contract.

BRIAN Kelly is a very good offensive coach and overall HC...BUT ND's offense sputtered this year due to a frosh QB: they still won 12 games despite that: don't make me defend this guy, as I don't like him AT ALL....he's slimy. They've had some serious off the field issues there in S.Bend that have thus far been swept under the rug

...."your sources suck" card that every dolt in here does that's proven wrong: SO I have three more that pass every litmus test of good journalism:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...c9bS_blog.html

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/colle...or-opener.html

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/colle...or-opener.html

.....consider yourself owned on this man...that's espn, huffpost, washington post and the Chicago SUn TImes....pretty unanimous. The most damning statement by FAR comes from the Sun Times piece by Mark Potash in which he says:

"What’s disturbing about Kelly’s comments is that they had nothing to do with Michael Floyd’s DUI arrest last weekend. They were made last July, after eight of Kelly’s players were arrested for underage drinking at an off-campus party.

Too many incidents..........

Even though it occurred less than four months after incoming freshman Matt James died in an underage-drinking accident during spring break in April — another supposed teachable moment ignored — the July incident was quickly swept under the rug and any discipline was of the slap-on-the-wrist, don’t-let-me-catch-you-doing-that-again variety. Nobody missed any games — the only punishment that really matters to a college football player"

.........people like you are a DISGRACE to the human race. Life is more important than football: hopefully you and porky the pig Kelly will realize that someday before it's too late. BTW: ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least we have confirmation that Kelly has the same standards as the university.

I had a vague recollection of the incident, but wasn't aware of the details.

Thanks for the links.
