This is getting embarrassing.
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.
2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.
3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.
4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.
5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

Garrett has preached the importance of turnovers for the defense from day 1. Ryan didn't deliver,so I see him totally on board with Kiffin.

No way, no how is Garrett behind this. And I don't like Garrett but I'm telling you I feel for the guy. This is a make or break year for him and there is no way in hell this man, with his seat as hot basically on fire, would stake his future on a guy who hasn't coached in the NFL in four years and just got ran out of the college game.
We don't have the personnel for a Tampa 2 and knowing how long it takes Jerry to assemble talent, Monte will be sipping out of a dribble cup in the nursing home before we get the right personnel in here.

I would say cool story with the thing about the palace and whatnot but it wasn't so I won't.

I guess this is just one more thing to complain about and put it on Jerry. I dont know how i feel about it yet. Id like to see who he brings in. The age is something to think about. But his football brain is a thing to be excited for.

+1 I am thinking the same thing, JG is on board with this!

Garrett isn't as football smart or even half the coach Reid is. Jerry can't trust Garrett's football judgement

Kiffin is one of the very few people Garrett has first hand experience working with on a previous coaching staff from Tampa Bay.
Why do I get the feeling that there isn't a single move that would have been made tha wouldn't automatically be considered "Jerry's move, no doubt."

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Because there isn't.
I thought Jerry always makes big splashes. I don't see Monte as a big splash. Lovie would have been. Horton would have been. This is a solid football move.
So if you see this as all Jerry, see it as a solid football move. I think it has always been Jason Garrett, though I do believe it is because Jerry wants change.

I don't agree with the OP either, but Garrett was never on Tampa Bay's coaching staff. He was a backup QB there for less than one season.

When Rob was hired I said it was a Garrett move. I actually felt the entire staff with the exception of Callahan were Garrett moves.
Not this offseason. This reeks of the owner flexing his muscles yet again. The driving force of this change the offseason is coming from the owner and not the head coach, IMO.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

It's a combination of Jerry and jason, but clearly Jerry is the driving force.

Yeah, this could be a real ugly season coming up. Jerry is undermining Jason by hiring his own staff instead of letting Jason do it.
Jerry has come out publicly already and has said he made the decision to let Rob Ryan go. If I were Jason I'd be careful what I say to Jerry. He may not last the entire 2013 season.

It's Jason's decision to drop play calling? No way, it's all Jerry.

I disagree. Reid had Jim Johnson. Without Johnson, Reid is George Seifert.

Reason: Seiferts should be Seifert

Jerry and Stephen gave Garrett the Keys to the Fancy New Sports Car. Garrett proved that he cannot drive or handle the car. Garrett has no sense of direction either so a new OC and DC will assist him by being his Back Seat Drivers. If you were the Owner of this multi-billion dollar team then you be acting in the same manner. Personally, just replace the Driver (Garrett) and there is no need for all this Drama. Jerry is infatuated with Garrett for some reason.
