It's gotta be Callahan. He is already the OC/AHC. How can you change his title w/out it being a demotion?

If we were gonna get an OC, then the HC wouldve already been fired, apparently he isnt so i dont see them bringing a OC. just my prediction, and you of all people you know im not very high Garrett.

Right but it doesn't come as a " uncomfortable " move. The Rob Ryan firing sorta was. I guess I just don't see what Jerry's major changes are.

It had to of been changing the DC and stripping play calling from JG along with some player cuts.

I still want Norv. He could really help Romo a lot, it would take a lot of pressure off him and would leave Garrett ample time to figure out that fickle clock we all know he has difficulties with

Why? He doesn't seem like he wants back in as an OC or any position for that matter. Just you're opinion or did you hear something?

I don"t want this guy either but there was another guy who was stripped of his playing calling duties as an OC because the offense was terrible and many people wanted him as the head coach here. Now he has improved since then and has gone on to win a Super Bowl. The person is non other than Sean Payton when he was with the Giants. Just FYI

Kinda sounds alot like the current guy calling the plays, so why even bother making a change?

The one thing about that whole deal that didn't make sense, was that Cameron was the OC in SD when LT was just going nuts running the ball. And that was with a better (IMO) passing game. Just don't understand why he didn't make Rice more a part of the offense in Baltimore.
There's always more to the story.

Yeah, but then he came and coached with Parcells, and developed his magical powers under the almighty wizard himself.

Please NOO! Everything I read in the guy was that the game passed him by and he pretty much didn't adjust to changing trends. He was an idiot about Rice. That would be a disaster.

Callahan would make the most sense financially, because there would not have to be a big hire (and/or lose money from Callahan's dismissal) but it seems like Jerry is waiting for someone to be available from another team.

I like Sparano for OL coach but I have a feeling there is a playoff team who has a RB coach who could be offered a higher position (not lateral) of running game coordinator (ie O-line and RBs) and Jerry is waiting for that coach to be available.

My guess is: Alex Van Pelt from the Packers.
It's a message board, that's what the topics are for.

What I don't understand...insistence...disdain...It's one thing to feel that way, and to say so. Why try to make other people agree with you....And why pretend...Disagree with me all you like...Don't start twisting mine or getting frustrated just because I don't want to eat the other half of that crap-sandwich you made for yourself...Because I don't happen to like crap sandwiches.

Why Alex Van Pelt?

I'd love to have someone who could run Green Bays scheme properly here.
