I know people are going to laugh but watch for Ahmad Merritt who we just signed. He is a player a good #4 rec. Great return man. He will be our return man.

Look for the Boys to really make some noise for a big impact WR in the 5th our 6th round of the 2006 draft.

I think Marion Barber may have something to say about that. He is a pretty good return man as well.

This position really worries me- Glenn goes down again and we're right back to the place we were last year. And that was with Witten in the lineup and with Julius providing the running game, but still very little offensive production..and now the only upgrade over that scenerio being Bledsoe. If Bledsoe doesn't have anyone to throw to, he's not going to look much better then Vinny last year at the end. We NEED to bring atleast 1 player in- old or young, it really doesn't matter at this point- we need someone who can step up into that #2 spot if need be.

Patric Crayton.

I believe he'll emerge as a bonafide receiver this season surpasing Morgan in the depth chart. he has the size & speed, decent hands and with a year of pro experience he'll blosom.

With the other holes we had on this team, I can live with what is a rather solid core of WRs.

Would you rather have Galloway back? Hmmmm?

No WR we get is going to crack our top 3. So what's the point? Just another below mediocre vet to take a roster spot away from a young guy. Just another Dedric Ward.

My point exactly!!! We BETTER get a LEGIt WR because Terry Glenn is starting to look like he is made of glass...
When asked about his mobility-

Don't discount Quincy Morgan just yet... the Cowboys identified a small problem in his technique... putting the wrong hand above the other on the inside stuff... they are working to correct it...

He has a lot of potential and a good attitude... plus he grew up a Cowboys fan... the trade for him and AB is looking better for us now as Cleveland took a WR early...

Plus... Patrick Crayton can play this game and has great handwork... give him a chance to develop...

Copper has good hands too... and again... the right attitude... although a top WR would have looked nice... we were lucky to have the bpa address our specific needs...

Patrick Crayton is veeeeery similar to a player in Pittsburg. I will let you figure out which one. They are both former QBs, elusive, and smart.

Actualyl - I think he has some attributes of both of them. I have very high hopes for him.

Thats the kind of stuff I like to hear about the Cowboys. So appearently they didn't notice it in Cleveland.

i seriously doubt that the development of C & C would affect Dallas' decision to draft a WR in the 1st next year because neither of those guys ceilings are as a lead receiver. I like them both alot, but, 1's they will never be.

I disagree. Crayton has a very, very high ceiling.

That being said, he would have to be amazing to just ignore the position next season. he still has plenty to learn.

I prefer to compare Crayton to a wr the Cowboys had in the 1970's. He was a former QB too.
