I don't find it odd that once again John is looking for higher opportunities now that there are alot of positions open in the NFL and in college.

What I do find odd though is the folks that cling to everything the media writes/publishes as if it were gospel. Jerry doesn't need to be a salesman when the media is already doing it for him.
Kudos to you both for paying attention. By the way, long before the false reports about Jerry trying to force John out, I was posting that he wanted to go back to the college ranks to run his own program.

I am sure someone is going to call me a liar, so...

If you look, all of those pre-date the force out rumors.

In actuality it's fans showing that they are tired of cronyism.

Jason Garrett got the job due to cronyism, and his brothers got their jobs due to cronyism. We're tired of it.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

Why do you say the reports about Jerry trying to force him out are false?

And right on, GB. I've heard several reporters say the last few days that John isn't liked at VR, and that's probably why.
Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

Could not agree more....However, I do wish John Garrett all the best and hope gets the experience needed to be a great HC.....but I really hope he needs and is willing to take Jason Garret to be his OC.....that would be awesoooooome.

Jason Garrett, 2 years as a quarterbacks coach before becoming an offensive coordinator... four years as a floundering offensive coordinator before becoming a head coach. Two 8-8 seasons as a head coach... still has a job.

Who has John Garrett developed as a tight end?

Judd Garrett? Head of pro scouting?

I'm sorry, but none of them should have a job here.

Oh baloney. I can show you "cronyism" all over the NFL. You dislike anything the Cowboys do, and if another team does it, then it doesn't matter.

Steve Belichick, is an Assistant with the Patriots, and his pops is the best Head Coach in the NFL of the last decade by a mile. When I see you upset at that, I'll care about your "cronyism" issues here.

Cronyism was a real problem with the Bach and Mozart families.

What?

Why what did he do wrong?

We have ad a nice group of offseason and in season free agents under Judd.

Judd has been a coach with Sabin in Miami when Jason was there and was a qb coach in st.louis till his wife was sick.

I don't get this kind of comment.

John Garrett had 12 years nfl experience with cin and arz before going to Virginia and then here.

He was jake plummers qb coach in 99 and 00

I don't understand all the hate for these guys.

You know who doesn't have much experience, Jerome Henderson. His unit had an awful 7 int after drafting the best cb at 6 and giving 50 million to Carr.

What gives here? What s everyone really so mad about?

Losing? If that's true everyone is in the same boat, it sucks but use your head.

100% agree with you. He is the guy the team has credited with finding the guys we added this year.

If that was actually true, then no other organization would be interested in hiring him.

Looks like you tired of your own myth.

I don't care about cronyism if it isn't creating a problem... If we're winning super bowls, hire your 3rd cousin's pediatrist for all I care.
