How about Alan Branch FA Target?

This guy is really underrated. He's been a beast against the run the last two years and would fit perfectly as a 1 technique in our new 4 man front. He's still young too and shouldn't break the bank. If we let Spencer go I would say he's a must. Thoughts?

Don't know much about him, but if he's afit, that's one more draft pick that can be used on an OL. I still as of today beleive our 1st pick will be defense, and still a DL Regardless of any FA's signings, and regaedless if a 4-3 or 3-4....a DL is needed in either scheme.

I pulled up the Seahawks games against the Cowboys and Packers. Branch was actually playing the 3-tech and Mebane was playing the 1-tech.

I had posted somewhere that I thought Mebane was the 3-tech. Humm...

Your observations are right. Despite his size, Branch plays 3 tech and backs up Bryant as a 5 tech for the Seahawks. Mebane plays 1 tech. Branch isn't good taking on double teams and likes to shoot gaps, which is why he sucked in the 3-4 in Arizona.

Last year Cowboys had the have the ABSOLUTE BEST CB and signed Carr to a huge FA contract.

Of course this year the Cowboys should sign the ABSOLUTE BEST FA Safety to a huge FA contract....

This is how the team solves all of it's problems - right? Every year go out and sign a mega-free agent contract.
