But you knew this would happen. These teams are leaps and bounds ahead and we got him as a coach in waiting and have been spinning wheels. Just what people are seeing.

Jerry doesn't help the situation for sure. He's an unstable, babbling alcoholic with a severely fragile ego.
Fans are upset right now. Gonna to be a longgggg offseason.

Right, this is where I put him in the "mistake" file. I've expressed many times I'm peeved at the acceptance of mediocrity here and it does start at the top. I just try and acknowledge strengths too....though getting harder and more frustrating.

I don't care for Mosely at all, but he brings up an interesting point here.

Garrett is one of the architects of this line so he gets blame for that too.

As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"
2013 Prediction: "NO PLAYOFFS"

As fans there isn't much we can do. Who among us is going to stop attending games or watching them on TV? The answer is no one who is honest. So since we can't change it and have no intention of abandoning our fanhood, some of us choose to try to be as positive as possible. It irks us to come here even after a victory and see negativity injected into EVERY SINGLE THREAD. Even if there's a thread created specifically for "realists", they come to other threads with the same old tired broken record complaints. Supporting your team through bad times and accepting mediocrity are two different things. Even if you "don't accept mediocrity" what does that mean anyway? You're still here and the team is still mediocre.

In all honesty, I think it speaks really well of Jason Garrett that these were two of the other organizations most interested in him. Perhaps the problem in Dallas right now isn't with either the head coach or the quarterback. Wouldn't that be refreshing?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

It isn't refreshing actually. The problem in Dallas right now is the same problem that it has been prior to Garrett and Romo. An unqualified GM running the show. Unfortunately, that probably isn't going to change any time soon.

JGs stock was highest after the 2007 season but has been falling since. He has 6 seasons on his resume and they don't reflect the promise he showed early on. Teams thought they were getting the offense of 2007 so that's why they wanted him, but that year was an abberation as we have seen.

i'm "peeved" i can't come in here and talk football without wading through a ton of JERRAH SUCKS crap. it gets into 90% of the threads and while i don't care for jones, i can't change that. he bought the team and he can do whatever the unholy hell he wants to with it.
i'd rather talk players, schemes, and analysis but you can't do that here cause in short order the hate parade somes raining down upon you with their same jr high comprehension and reaction.
jerry sucks.
i agree. i just don't agree constant whining about it will change anything so i moved on and would LOVE to talk football.
not jones.
