Hatcher over Carr? Sorry I just don't see it.

Yeah. I'd have Carr a bit higher too.
He's not thrilled with Matt Johnson's non partcipation, I see.
He ranks Sensy high, Miles too.
What I noticed was that the drop off is steep after about 13-14 players .
Harris at 23...sweet.

I noticed that too. You hit 13 and then it drops off a cliff.

I might switch a few positions but, assuming Ware and Lee are fully healthy it's not a bad effort.

I think putting Sean Lee ahead of Tony Romo is an insult to our QB. Lee's got the ability and potential for that high of a ranking but he's been way too injury prone so far.
Meanwhile Romo's out there like a crash test dummy trying to carry our fatally flawed offense every week.
You want to put Ware ahead of him, fine....but nobody else. At least not yet.

I'm going to have use that one sometime, so don't copywrite it in conjunction with Romo.
Of course, the press would just drop the "crash test" part of it any way.

Wow! Doug Free at #19 and Jeremy Parnell -- the guy who challenged Free, forced him to play better, and flat out outplayed him -- ranked at 21.
Not to mention, Tyron Smith only just a few notches up at #13 and not even cracking the top-10 list.
Wow, just WOW!!!
I just don't get that.

Trent Dilfer: "Tony [Romo] has greatness in him. I think when you talk to other people that really play the quarterback position, there's a few guys that really have incredible greatness in them, and Tony is one of them. I think the issue here is he needs more help from his teammates. I think they are not nearly as talented as people say they are, from 1 to 53. I'm talking about the total roster.”

Holy moly that drops like crazy after 13. All those who claim we have the talent have never looked at a ranking like that. Seeing high draft picks in the 20's is depressing.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Good to see it in a format like this. Gives weight to the argument that we're not nearly as "loaded" with talent as people like to think.
There's always more to the story.

Josh Brent is last because of his DWI? If it's a ranking based on skill, then Brent is probably around 17.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

'I don't have an answer for it.' - Wade Phillips when asked about his teams losing performance vs. the St. Louis Rams on 10/19/2008.

That...and the injuries combine to make it impossible (in my mind) to blame our coaches.
People who say we under-acheived and I say, HUH?!?!?!?
One could make an argument that it took superior coaching to arrrive at 8-8.
