This smells like there is something else going on with Ryan. Not going to speculate beyond that.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Rob Ryan - who predicted he'd be out of work "five minutes" - now has his unemployed meter up to over 30,240 minutes. And counting.

Is this stuff really necessary?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Yes, when a dummy shoots his mouth off and then is proven wrong he should be ridiculed or at least called out.

RR deserves it after making the "5 minutes" comment.
It's looking more and more like RR is alittle too full of himself.

It's all about the "Zing!"
To be honest, I take issue with all the snarky remarks towards Rob Ryan around here. In one breath, we blame injuries for derailing the season. In another breath, we castigate Rob Ryan for not fielding a better, more aggressive defense when his unit was the one most depleted by injuries.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that ridicule isn't necessarily required when a man loses a job, and that it should probably be confined to jokes that are actually funnier than they are hurtful. Otherwise, it just comes off as petty and a little mean. And not even sort-of amusing.

Fire away. Just keep in within the guidelines.

Funny how often the sports media is getting stories wrong recently. Could have sworn they reported he was hired, then backed-off, and then reported he was hired again, and now report that he isn't hired.

Amen!! I think Fish just had a "JJ moment" and then when the smoke cleared said. "What the !#@% was I thinking? This guy needs to be in a circus."
Since Fish has a defensive background, I was very surprised they even considered Ryan.

What's more, some of the people most adamant that injuries were an excuse for Garrett only days before Ryan was fired are the same ones now acting like injuries were no excuse for Ryan's defense last year.
