They would spill out the same "huuurrr durrr we never lost in the Super Bowl!". I hope the whiners never reach the SB again. They have the most bandwagon fans I have ever seen. In the 80's they used to switch from being Raiders fans to 49ers fans and back again. When we beat them last season(with an injured Romo and Holley) their stadium was filled with our jerseys. Once they started winning, the wine and cheese crowd started filling the stadium again.

I'm with you, brother. It got tiring pointing out that in all of those other years they didn't win it, they also weren't good enough to come in second, so the Cowboys' three Superbowl losses in 8 showings were still more impressive than 5 wins in 5 showings. EDIT: 5 wins in 6 showings

The first time you go to a tailgate and see people drinking champagne and grilling shrimp tells you everything you need to know about Niner fans.

Cowboy fans actually rooting for the Niners confuses the heck out of me. Being younger is not an excuse, either. There's no excuse. We're not supposed to like that organization. That's what rivalries are all about.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Its ridiculous the NFL hates the fact that the SB's are run away's funny how they came back but thats another topic for another thread, I hate the 49ers and the Steelers don't want them to win another SB EVER, I don't care if I'm hanging on to past glories, I despise them both.

The score didn't reflect the shellacking the niners got. Damn lights. This isn't about saving face, this about utter disgust and hatred of the organization and the fans that come with it. Thank God they lost, too many damn niner fans where I live.
If you build it, he will run...

I really tried to feel better when SAn FRan lost, but I just couldn't. No matter what anyone else did, we still suck.

At least you won't have to listen to whiner fans talking about how they are the greatest franchise ever for the next 20 years, at least until the Raiders win another one.

Remember when Cowboy's fans were focusing on winning another SB?

Now we are putting too much bandwidth over other team's misery...we become more like the Redskins that put more focus on beating Dallas than winning championships.

And the 49ers - totally different than the West Coast offense twenty years ago.

To be fair, this is a thread *about* the Niners losing a Superbowl we weren't playing it. Pretty normal to root against a rival in that circumstance.

All great franchises have to suffer some super bowl heartbreak at one time or another. So get to suffering San Francisco, and quit whining about the refs.No team has been screwed over by the refs in the super bowl more than the Dallas Cowboys.Look at super bowls 5,and 13.

The 49ers have built the team that I wished Dallas would build. They have several players that I wanted as Cowboys. I am just a fan of physical, smash mouth football. I pulled for the 49ers for another reason. I didn't want a murderer dancing around after going out as a Super Bowl winner. I read and watched too much about Lewis the last couple of weeks.

I have people on each team in the SB I was pulling for, as well as people I wouldn't mind suffering the agony of defeat. For instance, the classier Harbaugh won....who is the sorest SB loser - Bill Belichick or Jim Harbaugh?

For people that don't like the 49ers - you won't have to hear they are tied with the most SB wins and the next great team - at least for another year.

I was thrilled they lost the game. I can't stand the 49ers and their losing makes me very happy.

Have we honestly stooped to this level? Where is the pride that once earned the America's Team statement? The 49ers are still owned by one Debartolo. Her name is Denise. She is now a York. Her husband didn't care about the team when it was given to them by her brother Eddy Jr. Now that Mr. York cares this team will win #7 before we can place a competitive team on the field.
