I am just about sure that the term Starter is an obsolete term in terms of playing status. In football anyways.Pretty much if you make the team you are expected to play somnewhere along the line. Glover not starting wont make him less valuable to the franchise, infact will make him more valuable I would wager.
Step aside for the Cowboys from Hell!!!!!

I do not see Glover's value to this team changing at all. Just because Ferguson is playing does not mean Glover will be on the bench, even if they are lined up in a 3-4. Glover will probably play 3-4 end as well as nose. He is certainly willing to do it too.

I think Glover will struggle to find playing time at 3-4 end....he'll be a NT, and he'll either earn his time over Ferguson, or he'll be used in long yardage or in the 4-3 changeup.

A probowl DT in the 4-3 doesn't automatically start at DE in the 3-4...I think Glover's days will be numbered eventually due to his size, which has been an issue even in the 4-3 in short yardage and goal line...he gets killed by the double team.

1st round picks don't normally sit on the bench either...unless they are a QB.

Glover will probably see time in obvious passing situations. His playing time is going to be significantly reduced....I would guess probably 50%

The Hustler is correct.
Fergy is now the starter as the NG...

Glover actually could be much more effective on passing downs rushing from the NG position...He isn't a 3-4 DE...

I also expect Ellis to still start with Spears the other DE...

Ellis will gain maybe 10 lbs & be fine, he is quite strong.

Canty will be in the rotation at DE in the 3-4 as well...
I like Colemans chances to stay as well he is quite strong, good size for a 3-4 DE...

One thing is for sure, at least we have Parcells to put players in a position to excell now!

Thank GOD he is taking over on D!
