[View Full Quote]In the Garrett/Romo era, except for the year Romo got hurt, every season Cowboys fans have got to watch MEANINGFUL games through Week 17. Yes, the seasons have usually ended up around the .500 mark in the end, but at least there was reason for fans to turn on the TV and feel excited. When you are 4-12/5-11, at some point (and often early) you are out of it and that is a total different feel. For a team to be out of it at Week 10, to have 5-6 or more meaningless games on the schedule, that is a truly bad thing and something the bandwagon fans on this board take for granted. But then again, I actually LIKE football. I can watch two 2-7 high school teams play and get great enjoyment out of it. The Jerry/JG/Romo haters who make up this forum are just front running, bandwagon riders who don't even like football and are just here to make themselves and us miserable.

If these "bandwagon fans" make you miserable because they don't like the decisions being made or the ones making, try being a Browns or Jags fan. They expect losing and have low expectations so you would have much in common with them. Why would you post on a board that makes you miserable? I have heard that they have sunshine boards that you should like much more. To say that any of the posters on this board are not true fans is a little arrogant. I have been a fan for 40 years. That is a long time to ride a band wagon don't you think? I am much like many posters, fed up with average/below average results. Some of us don't drink the kool-aid and don't mind stating our opinion. That is what these boards are for, or maybe not.
There is nothing wrong with stating an opinion wheather it is positive or negative. I agree that the Jerry sucks and Garrett sucks posts get old. The very least that a poster can do is to give the reason for that opinion. The same goes for the other side. If you think Garrett is great, be prepared to defend that opinion considering the current state of the team. One thing that would make everybody happy is the team winning. All posters would agree with that.
