Drew has much better numbers. What hurts him is the same thing that hurts Harris and Martin: The Cowboys losing two close Super Bowls to the Steelers in the 70s. We're told that if the Cowboys wanted the recognition, they should have won those games.
Funny how it doesn't stop borderline guys who have never been to Super Bowls from getting in, though.

Funny also that it didn't stop borderline guys from the 70's Vikings and 90's Bills teams from getting in.

Amen bro!
This is why I wish the voting was public and done by a larger committee.
I'd LOVE for the past voting and comments to go public to identify sports writers that simply hate the Cowboys and others.
I've heard Landry era players not get in: "the depth of the Cowboys made them seem great...", yet that don't use that against the only team of that era that may have had greater depth - the Steelers.
Can't the selection committee remember it's not a team but an individual they are considering?

I counted these types of players for all teams, even teams that did not win a Super Bowl, or even play in a Super Bowl. The minimum criteria were simply an AP 1st team All-Pro selection and 5 Pro Bowls. (An All-Decade Team selection could be substituted for the 5 Pro Bowls).
Even leaving rings out of the equation (which makes no sense to do anyway and was only done to prove a point), the Cowboys still have more of these players than any other team. The number of players with rings is in parentheses.
Cowboys 14 (13)
Broncos 12 (4)
Chiefs 11 (2)
Bills 10 (0)
Rams 9 (0)
Dolphins 8 (5)
49ers 8 (3)
Raiders 8 (3)
Steelers 8 (3)
Vikings 8 (0)
Bears 6 (2)
Titans/Oilers 6 (0)
Eagles 5 (0)
Falcons 5 (0)
Giants 5 (3)
Jets 5 (0)
Lions 5 (0)
Packers 5 (3)
Browns 4 (0)
Bucs 4 (3)
Colts 4 (1)
Redskins 4 (2)
Cardinals 3 (0)
Patriots 3 (0)
Chargers 2 (0)
Saints 1 (0)
Seahawks 1 (0)
Jaguars 1 (0)
Ravens 1 (0)
Panthers 1 (0)

Cross-era confusion.
Hill's best yardage years, he ranked 7th, 7th, and 9th. In Pearson's best years, he ranked 1st, 2nd, and 5th.
Hill's best reception years, he ranked 9th, 12th, and 16th. In Pearson's best years, he ranked 3rd, 4th, and 9th.
That's why Hill was never a 1st team All-Pro and Pearson made it three times, and why Pearson made the HOF's All-Decade Team of the 70s and Hill did not make the Team of the 80s.

I find the Hall of Fall voting process to be somewhat of a Sham.
Any process that has the president of the man-boy love association (Rick Gosselin) as a voter is flawed.

Please prove this isn't hyerbole.
