Can't say the organization hasn't given all of us some reason to do so from time to time. But we don't constantly rant.

In Red's case, it's very hard to find positive comments on any thread.

Uh, the white part was a joke. That should have been obvious. I don't care what color his skin is... And yes, if he can ever get healthy enough to take a snap or two, he might be a player. Might. None of us really know because we've never seen him play against NFL players in real games.

Yep. Kinda sad and comical that any topic, player, coach, etc., turns into anti-Jerry vent.

Some of us haven't ever seen him play period.. I haven't even watched his college highlights, not that they really matter once you're in the NFL.

He's really just an unknown...A redshirt rookie, if you will.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

You sound like such a realist, WG...

But you're right, they don't. Especially going against not-the-greatest competition. Though I will say that he looked big enough, quick to the ball, and to be a very good tackler, at least against the run.

Still, it's hard to believe how much he was hurt last year. Not sure I've ever seen a guy be continuously hurt from summer to winter without a catastrophic injury.

I'm the realest of the real...

That said, you're right. You would've thought he broke something with all the injuries he sustained. I'm really hoping he can contribute something on the field, just from a depth perspective.

If he can make a Bruce Carter-like impact, then I'm all for it.

I've watched everything that I could find of this college games, reviewed his measureables compared to other safeties and studied any bit of pre-draft written analysis that I could find.

My predictions are:

If healthy, he has a very high probability (95%) of being a significant contributor in 2013.

I consider the probability of him being completely healthy for the full season to be low (30%).

You don’t know what you don’t know.

Is this opinion on the probability of his being healthy this year complete conjecture? or is it based on facts related to your knowledge of his medical situation?
"Young man, when you throw a strike, Mr. Hornsby will let you know."
Bill Klem when a pitcher questioned a called ball to Rogers Hornsby.

I agree, seemed to have lots of soft tissue problems which does not bode well for longevity. He still will lay some wood on you, I see a little John Lynch in his media footage. In my mind he takes the place of the QB we had from A&M last year as the latest project.

I think his job will be to replace Sensi though. And even then I don't think he'll be worse

I'm not a Doctor therefore it is just conjecture. I'm not basing it on his specific injury but on his overall injury history and the fact that his twin brother has an injury history also.

I was mainly trying to emphasize that I think he is really really talented; however, I'm not putting his name in Ink as a contributor in 2013.

I basically wanted to complement his talent while not counting on his contribution.
