Yeah the only random thing about an Army test is the date. Usually it was an O dark 30 wake everyone up and hand you a cup.

If you are a roughneck out drilling oil wells, and if anyone gets injured...the whole gang has to have a urine check.

And, that's the way it should be.

Better than the random lie detector tests companies used to be able to give you before a law was passed against it back in the 80s. I worked for McCoy's Building Supply back then and a guy in an RV with his lie detector machine in the back would be waiting in the parking lot for us when we arrived for work about every eight months or so. Always heard about people getting fired because of failing but never anyone at my store. I know I lied a few times and didn't get fired so I don't know about all of that. Sure was stressful though. When it became illegal they immediately went to drug testing.

a really good operator can detect just about anyone lying- but there are those that can beat the machine. And if you do not have a top operator you can usually beat it as well if you work at it. That is why its not allowed to be used in court cases.

They are not allowed in court because it is the judge and jury that are supposed to determine credibility, not a machine.

what does a computer do on checking DNA? that is a machine. Analysis of fibers is done on a machine. Machines are everywhere.
