Sleeper pic?

What's everyones sleepers this year? Pet cats?

I have one in mind, kinda out there not because of who he is but because I wanna know if he could play slb? Ray ray armstrong safety. 6'3 230, could add some weight, coverage as a db not his strong suit but coverage as a lb, good? Plus he's pretty fast. Monte loves speed.

Give me ur thoughts, opinions, nd pics. Thanks

Hmmmm, if gonna throw a pet cat out there other than the usual Bulldogs, I would have to say Rontez Miles, DII safety. If he runs well, he could be a great pick.

So far, I gotta go with Brandon Williams, DT, Missouri Southern State

the more I see on him, the more I would LOVE to see him and his motor in the Kiffin defense....possibly in the 3rd round, although if his combine is good, he could move up from there....

Hard to look by the facts concerning his relative who the Jets and others were disappointed by a couple of drafts ago. He has been painted with that same brush of will look good but play bad much like Mike Malmula for the eagles several years ago.
But no one could handle him one-on-one except for the LT from Central Michigan, and even he needed some help. Still, William made impact plays in that game all day long. He plays on both sides of the line so figuring what side is the best is not necessary. Probably third rd if that is a sleeper. I also have in the third Chris Faulk OT LSU who acheived an ACL reconstruction in the fall of 2012 if healthy IMO would of been drafted ahead of most of the OT in rd 1/2. Built more like an early Nate Newton model than Tyron Smith. Not sure Jason G can draft a player who will not produce at full speed in the third rd being on the hot seat might change his draft agenda.

Terron Armstead, Arkansas Pine-Bluff. - A very nimble big man who would make a fantastic RT for us. I'd take him in the 2nd with Cooper in the 1st.

these might not quite qualify as a "pet cat" since neither is from a small school nor unheralded and both will likely go within the first 45 picks....but I would really love to snag one of the top two TEs....the one from Notre Dame or the one from Stanford. I know we have way too many needs along the OL and DL to use a top pick on a TE with Witten coming off a historic year but man would love to have his potential equal (ok someone comparable) lining up opposite side of the line from him as well as become his successor.

No no no dude, spot on pet cat can be anyone just someone u really like regardless of draft position or need.

Like a few of my pet cats (I usually have alot haha it's easier for is to draft one if I have alot lol) I'm a florida boy so a lil biased, but not completely. Sharrif, matt elam, nd gilislee my homer pics, and all fit needs... Sharrif for obvious reasons, elam is a freaking missile, needs to wrap up more, nd isn't nearly as bad in coverage as others think, gilislee is no nonsense on cut back plaid thru alot of injuries this yr.


Someone suggested faulk, id love if he fell to the third or super lucky 4th...

I'm also a warford fan nd could careless of zbs.. Dude will hot u in the mouth.

Another sleeper is davonte hollowman, played "spur" for gamecocks he was all over the place always in on tackles.

Yes alot of sec guys.. Honestly that's what I mostly watch here in florida.

I love these two wide outs. Justin hunter nd stedman bailey. Hunter is a freak nd bailey just makes plays.

I threw out a question about Ray Ray playing OLB awhile back. He is definitely a top athlete just not a great coverage safety. They have had both SLBs and WLBs that were smaller than him in past Kiffin or Kiffin inspired defenses.

Another Safety with good speed and excellent size is Cooper Taylor (6-4, 229) (Richmond). He would make a good 4-3 OLB also.

Back in January I created a spreadsheet of over/under rated players based on the rankings at that time.

I think most of the under rated players have started to move up the rankings; however, one that stands out to me that has not is the Center from A&M Patrick Lewis. I can't understand why he does not get any love in the rankings.

Michigan State in the 4th round....that would be a GREAT value pick. He is the prototypical 3rd down and short yardage back combined into ONE guy:
big, strong and physical man who can really move the pile.

What MOST people don't realize is that he is an EXCELLENT receiver out of the backfield with soft hands. He can also play Hback as he's big, nimble and runs good routes. (he showed this in 2010 and '11 with Kirk Cousins, NOT last season because their QB was brutal)
