Low T? I highly recommend a good endocrinologist.

And I say that without any derogatory intent. I agree with you that some sports I enjoyed in previous decades have waned...and for the reasons stated. College football and the NBA are as corrupt as boxing.

I'd say I probably enjoy sports chat as much...or more...than sports itself.

I don't mind the NFL rules changes. But I dont' really feel invested as much in the Cowboys. They don't feel like MY TEAM. They feel like Jerry's team. It seems every week or two he'll do something to remind me that it's HIS TEAM and his alone. I didn't even bother to watch 4 or 5 games this past year, and that's very different than a decade ago.

No, I just know what good football looks like. And it's not this abortion the game has become.

A. Dont worry about the cap, its a total joke and easily manipulated.

B. Swing for the fences now with Romo, because when he leaves thats it.

C. I love watching offense and my favorite games are shootouts.

D. NFL is more popular now than ever, so get used to the "new" league.
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"

So what if...

The team doesn't win a Super Bowl again?

Far fetched? Sure.

But then look at the Eagles since 1959.

Would you believe with some of the teams they have fielded they would still be without a trophy in this era of the game?

Maybe the best defense I have seen is the 1990 and 1991 Eagles from a pure pass rush standpoint.

What if this team is 34 years away from it's next walk in the sun?

I love football and we all become adults one day. Look I'm not saying the NFL is rigged but it, much like any money making venture, has serious issues. The more money to be made, the more corruption comes into play.

I'm good friends with some current and former pro athletes. They all admit that PED's are rampant. The players are usually a good 2-3 years ahead of the testing and they also believe all PRO and College sporting leagues/sanctions and even the olympic commitees know it and only "act" as if they care once it hurts the revenues. It's starting in high school.

Most of them also truly believe in their hearts that officials and referees have become just as bad. I was even told by current NFL players that this past Superbowl was "A Ray Lewis ride off into the sunset" movie. Ala Jerome Bettis. Now the NFL has yet another way to cash in on a "story" that will live on for generations. This was Steelers vs Seahawks part 2.

Our Sport's world has never been a 24-7-365 day a year environment. Now every sport is. Kids are expected to now focus on 1 sport all year long. AAU has made it that way and money has made AAU.
