Two years running for the the same season-ending injury is hardly a "freak injury"...

You comapred him to Bruce... so I went that way... I submit, again, that Rogers had the EXACT same season-ending injury two years straight... that should send up the sopapilla flag at Panchos (10 points for me mentioning Panchos)
Rogers has a world of talent... granted... but he has missed more games than he has played... so... I submit to you again... why give a reliable pro-bowler to gain his oft-injured services...

Hey, neither of us can predict the future, so ill leave it at that, but one of us will be eating some crow this season. Been fun shootin the *#** around. We'll see what happens, but I, for one, am hoping this deal goes thru. They just signed Kevin Johnson, and a pretty nice player in UDFA so they may very well be shopping Rogers (and i believe he'd come pretty cheap as Detroit would have to pay the rest of his signing bonus). We'll see, but i gotta get to bed now. Take er easy man.

TRading Glover would KILL our chemistry. He's the leader of the DL. I don't care if he only plays in pass rushing situations, we can't cut him.
He's big enough to play DE in a 3-4, and he's use to taking on double teams anyway. He also just happens to be the second strongest player on the team. Playing DE in a 3-4 might not be the best spot for him, but that doesn't mean he can't do it. I think he'd be able to play DE in a 3-4 better then Ellis.
Glover
Ferguson
Spears
There's your 3-4 DL right there.

I have to agree with trickblue. Glover has been a top defensive player for years. Losing Glover would be a step back. I would be dissappointed if we let him go for Rogers.

The only way I'd do that trade is if they threw in Boss Bailey and a 2nd round pick. Maybe Bill could turn Bailey into something more then just an athlete.
But even if they offered that I'd have to think about it.

You will lose Laroi eventually anyway. Now is the perfect time to get something of value for him. How many years left does he have on his contract? He will not be a Pro-Bowler this year under the new system. Good franchises make these kind of moves. Ii doesnt have to be for Rogers but Rogers does offer a lot of talent and potential. How many Pro-Bowl years does Laroi have left? He wont make any more Pro Bowls in Dallas so his value will continue to drop.
