3 years in a row??? lol, what would give you hope of things turning around if you are still 1-15 after 3 straight seasons?? haha, we have played for the division for the past 2 seasons & had a depleted defense this past year and a very poor o-line, yet played for the division.. You're seriously telling me you would rather root for a team to fail and hope on hitting on your draft picks when there is no sure thing, instead of having your team in the division race every year to get into the playoffs? I don't want to accept mediocrity 8-8 either, but 1-15 3 straight seasons??? oh my my

As a Giants fan, I don't think you should but I would love it if you traded him.
Yankees - NY Giants - Knicks - NY Rangers

lol the guy was banged up for at least half of the year & still produced the same #'s as Dumvervil. Ware = 11.5 sacks, Elvis 11... Ware = total tackles 33, assisted on 23, Elvis = total tackles 32, assisted on 22 GET REAL.. Von Miller may take some sacks away, but you would still like to replace him with Dumvervil after having an injury riddled season & still putting up the same #'s??

Yup trade the only guy who forces the QB to step up on a consistent basis, yet it doesn't show his value b/c we have had very little pressure in the interior that makes the QB pay when he steps up in the pocket.

there is a reason jerry, stephen and ciskowski will hang on for dear life to the core players. They cant identify and produce any.
and we shouldnt get rid of any of these guys as long as romo is here....
if/when romo is not here then blow out the roster until then it makes no sense....
and again, who is going to replace these guys? That trio in the front office has proven to be a horrendous group at the top.

I'm assuming you think guys like Tyron Smith, Dez Bryant, Morris Claiborne, Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Demarco Murray, Sean Lissemore, James Hanna, Dwayne Harris, etc are not young talent.
Perhaps we should dump them, too.

That only shows that you enjoy throwing out bad ideas year after year.

Ware and Witten are my favorite players. However, I think its best at this point to trade Ware for hopefully a first and second/third. A great player, but I just feel his better days might be behind him. Just my opinion.

Dumervil probably has 2 years left at best. Even if you throw out the money, I don't see how anyone would pick Dumervil over Ware. That isn't an improvement.

It's mind blowing isn't it? Who in their right mind would rather watch their team win a total of 3 games in 3 years than watch them be in the hunt for the division crown? All for the "possibility" of hitting on draft picks??

This Dumervil over Ware nonsense is even more absurd than the guy who would rather win 3 games in 3 years than be in the hunt. I hope the offseason goes by quickly.

give me a break.
Tyron smith is a top flight guy who will be up there with ware and romo in time.
Lee, Dez and carter could be if they can stay healthy and on the straight and narrow. There are ifs there.
the rest are just good players.
This small group of possible really good players is a far cry from replacing a hall of fame pass rusher, franchise qb, etc....
this team has failed because it has not filled in the periphery around the excellent players it had going back to 05 and up.
So excuse me if I doubt this front office's ability to find a premiere weak side pass rusher, a franchise qb just because it has a bunch of picks when for nearly 9 seasons they have not been able to identify talent at the easier positions to find.

Yep, we can really afford a 16m cap hit for Ware when we are struggling to handle his 8m hit this year. And we couldn't add anyone. That would be real smart.
Dallas does have a nice core of young talent....on offense:
Tyron Smith, Demarco Murray, Dez Bryant, James Hanna, Dwayne Harris, Dan Bailey
Parnell and Costa are maybes, along with Coale and Beasley.
On defense:
Tyrone Crawford, Shaun Lissemore, Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Morris Claiborne, Brandon Carr, Barry Church.
Wilbur and Johnson are unknowns for the most part.
Dallas has acquired pretty good talent these past couple of drafts and through free agency. Pretty much assume Romo is getting resigned.
Maybe we could blow it all up...get rid of Ware, Spencer, Austin, Romo, Free, Witten, Scandrick and just start over. The only problem is that you then have to be confident that you can get a franchise QB in the next year or two or you will waste the careers of the guys named above as good young talent. And you have to have confidence that after cutting all the vets and high priced players that they will do everything right in rebuilding. That might just be too much to ask from this crew.

You didn't say anything about "omg teh hallz of famez" talent.

You need some therapy!
Why not get rid or Romo, too? He's not young.
