TNEW you are on notice
No longer will you be able to play at a mediocre or below level
No longer will you be able to whiff on tackles
No longer will you get a free pass at Valley Ranch
BP does not play around....and it's time to step up....Aaron Glenn is here now and now you've been put on notice! It's put up or shutup time!

TNew gets extra special treatment...
because I like him.
Another high-character guy with immense tallent. I won't dismiss him as easily as I would say,... a Tony Dixon.
You're right. As a 1st rounder, he needs to show something this year. But I'm not concerned about TNew. He will be nice this year.

No pass rush, FS, and no veteran leadership in the secondary could certainly lead to a sub par season for Newman. But he started to play better later in the season, and i'm sure with the front 7 were about to put out, and if Glenn is indeed coming, his veteran leadership will help Newman. I have no concerns about Newman being a very good corner for us

not just a first rounder, a top 5 pick. He might be the 3rd best corner now if he doesn't step up.

Lol aaron glenn is here for saftey and you display an ignorant rush to judgment on TNew and his impact last year. Roy had a mediocre year so shall we cut him?! dat didnt do awesome shall we cut him we were exposed and our players had to play out of position and try to hard. This year we filled holes and our players can play THEIR spots. Newman no longer has the entire defensive backfield counting on only him to shutdown top10 recievers he will recieve help from our safties and a passrush. Newman is comming into his 3rd year and I have a feeling he will start "Ballhawking" much more and shutting people down.

T New does need to improve his technique, especially looking back for the ball but he had some really strong games the second half of last year like the 2nd Philly game. His game should look significanly better just from our improve pass rush alone.

With all of the moves we have made on defense, I think TNew will step up big and quiet his critics. Just my 2 cents...

ignorant rush to judgment? did you watch last year? trust me...glenn will be playing corner if tnew covers like that again...I know parcells and I have watched what he does...he does things like this not only to fill voids but to motivate players and just in case it doesnt...guess what?????? where have you read that glenn is playing safety? he has never played safety before...and from what I saw he is playing nickel...FOR NOW....so TNEW it's time for you to start earning your money....

TNew didn't play that bad last year.
Deion Sanders wouldn't of looked good playing with the sorry pass rush we had last year.
Adam, do you have that info saved about Newman's play last year? This guy needs to read it.

I disagree that Glenn is clearly here to play safety. Maybe it's an option, but Jerry was just quoted today on the Ticket saying we'd be in the market for cornerback help.

STSINAZ, your posts need to meet better standards. You are put on notice.
Glenn
5 INT 1 FF 14 PD 41 T
Newman
4 INT 2 FF 15 PD 61 T
Henry
4 INT 0 FF 12 PD 60 T
Yeah Newman really had below average stats on a defense that allows the QB 17 seconds to throw the ball.
