That was the big question with Ratliff "when he was in the game" No doubt a young Ratliff would of have been a monster in Kiffen's scheme...Jay Ratliff is not the Jay Ratliff of 2 years ago...Jerry Jones paid for past performance and not for future results.

IMO Ratliff beat Jerry Jones at his own game.... took Jerry to the Bank and loaded up... Ratliff is a MESS...on and off the field.

You could have made some nice coin over the last 3 years if you would have.
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"

So you could potentially have about 5 big holes concentrated in 2 areas.

Virtually impossible to cover up or compensate when your holes are that big.

We DESPERATELY need to have a great draft this year.
This...said it last year, and saying it again.
You've been weighed

You've been measured

And you've been found to be a casual fan

A. No where near as desperate as their forum dwelling fans.

Possible Free Agents

Offensive Line
OT Eric Winston Age 29
OG Brandon Moore Age 32

Defensive Line
Thought we would get someone on the defensive line but in Marinelli we trust till further notice

GO COWBOYS!

Players get hurt all the time, young and old. It's just tougher to bounce back when you get older, which is why Dallas has to reload the line over the next few years. Eventually Ratliff will be what some seem to already think he is, old and decrepit.

Up until last year, Ratliff hadn't missed a game since 2007 (when he missed one). Yes, this could be the beginning of the end, or it simply could be an anomaly for a 31-year-old who hasn't been kept off the field by health problems.

BTW, if Jones hadn't paid Ratliff, someone else would have. He was considered one of the best DTs in the game at the time.
"'Room' always makes me chuckle. That's irrelevant. What we have on a given day really doesn't relate to what you're ultimately going to have and how you're going to manage."

Half the time. Not worth it though. There are easier and better ways to make money.
