What is really funny is that I was listening to sports radio Sunday night and they were talking about how Benson's crying session in his post draft interview seemed weird (surreal was the word they used) and that he kind of reminded them of the flakyness of Ricky Williams .. and now this paper appears

If you were in his situation, with the pressure of the draft, the tv camera in your face and then to see your momma break down crying, could you be certain you wouldn't have a tear in your eye?
You can't spell bias without BS.

I'm sorry, I'm a big Horns fan, and I was definitely in mode when I saw that interview... it actually creeped me out...

Ced embarrassed himself, big time... the good news is, the way fans in Chicago are, they'll forget all about it along about the time he has his 3rd 100 yard game as a Bear...
Smarter than the av-er-age bear...

It wasn't that he "shed a tear" .. it was the way the whole interview went and how he literally broke down .. Not exactly setting a intimidating tone

i think chicago landed the toughest and most battle-tested runner in the entire draft. they are gonna love this guy.

the editor of the midland paper is obviously an Ag.

I love Cedric but darn he is heavy and depressed; the thing that struck me about our new running back is how much fun he has playing football; watch the yahoo links on our dude and after each of his plays, you see him jump up and smile -- he is enthusiatic and excited and just begging to go again like a 13 year old jumping from a swing rope into a river, or a 17 year old muff diving for the first time. Cedric acts like it is all such a burden.

Jim Brown did the same thing as CB does now ..which is taking about an hour to get up after a run...and walking back to the huddle he looks like he won't make it and is on his last legs...but once that huddle breaks, and he is handed the ball ,he hits that hole and lowers his shoulder just as hard as the first carry.I think Bears fans are very lucky to have him.

My favorite channel.
