Okay, this was before my time so give me a break here.

Is Roger Staubach's name pronounced Sta- bok where the 'o' makes the 'ah' sound or is it sta- back(pronounced like the word 'back')

I don't know what's worse that you looked it up or that i wrongly spelled "bachelor" .....i feel dumb.....

I like etymology. If I do end up getting my bachelor's () degree, I have given thought to a Linguistics Masters....
