Happy Birthday Would you want Troy Brown at this point

The dude can play nickel and WR, for the right price why, not?

I guess for the right price... but we already have a lot of DB's. Newman, Henry, Glenn, Frazier, Hunter, and there are more, but I didn't feel like listing all of them.

I guess at WR he might be okay, but he's old. One of the reasons we even want a WR at all is because our current guys are getting old so what is the point of getting another old guy? I don't think we need him.

no, because we already have enough age at WR. All he does is come in and be a 3rd or 4th WR, which means Crayton/Morgan don't get more time to develope. Nickel back, well that's Aaron Glenn's job.

It all depends if Copper and Crowder are all that.

Who is our punt returner?
That might be the only way that he makes our team. He also could be a nice slot receiver in spots - but he is getting old.

I'm not for or against. Sign him to a min contract and play the best.

Absolutley!! Troy Brown would give us quality depth at WR and Nickel/dime back as well as our PR/KR....SIGN HIM......
When asked about his mobility-

I wouldn't be horribly opposed to the idea, but overall I'd rather Crayton and Copper get the additional reps. I think we'll be in offensive draft mode next year (with WR a top priority) and I'd like to know exactly what we have in those two guys by the end of this season.

I was all for getting Troy Brown a month ago, but we have plenty of older guys at WR as it is. Also we would not need him to play CB in the Nickel with the recent signing of Glenn. so NO WAY

I think we are very competitive next season, but not until Parcells year 4 are we that scary. We wil surprise people, but give Parcells a chance to add players for one more off season, then we are ready. We don't need Troy Brown.

Personally, I think, this year we will be very good, but we will have some holes, and BP is gonna fill em, and in his last year here, we will do dirt, unless he stays even longer.
