Yep he never had that. And it is 3/4, nowhere near as funky as Phillip Rivers throwing motion. Infact, I never understood the whole hoopla about Henson throwing motion. Because when I saw other Qbs throwing, most have similar throwing motion. Probably thats why maybe there was slight adjustment since it was minor difference.

If anything I was more bit concerned about his making himself "Small" he does when he throws. Michigan Qbs tend to have that seems like ( being a Michigan fan, I have noticed that in other Qbs there).

"Making himself "Small" Very true RC...now that you mention it I remeber that little, for lack of a better word, flaw in his throwing motion. That is also a tendency of alot of baseball infielders as well.

I remember Henson having a funky throwing motion in preseason; it might not have been sidearm exactly but it was far from a perfect motion. He also had mechanics problems with his throwing step; he took a really long stride in his throw which also made him lower at the point of release. The whole effect was one of making the ball come out lower than other QB's who are not as tall. He also held the ball down by his beltbuckle during his dropback; most QB's hold the ball up around their chest (this was something Hutch did as well and it contributed to his many fumbles). However, I saw dramatic improvement in all of those areas by the time he played in regular season.

He has the best NFL arm I've ever seen short of Elway. Parcells needs to coach it up and expect another banner season for BP/DB.

TERRY GLENN MAY HAVE A 90 CATCH SEASON.....

You are dead on on that... he has a rifle... if Parcells truly knows how to coach him as Lee says... we could be in for a nice year at QB...

I'm talking arm and ability to make throws. Bledsoe has as strong an arm as there is. I've been to probably 70 NFL games and have never seen anyone in person that can make the throws that Bledsoe can.

Its up to Parcells to do his magic - there is a reason BP signed him day available.

So?

Elway is the greatest ever - JMO

There are plenty of QB's that are between of course. Does not take away from Bledsoe's arm - He started for Parcells at age 20. He will be one of how many QB's with 50,000 career yards and 300 TD's. Who else is on that list?

Yep. Bledsoe does have as strong a arm as there is. He is also extremely accurate on long passes to. I havent seen as many Bledsoe games as you have but Ive seen nuff to always be amazed at how he can actually lead a WR with deadly accuracy from 40 to 70+ yards through the air. Alota times on his long passes the WR doesnt even have to break stride.

But there is another QB on this roster that can make every throw Bledsoe can and then some. Henson. Im not sure if Henson is as accurate at long range as Bledsoe but Henson can throw at least has hard and far as Bledsoe.
One thing Henson has is that he can throw extremely hard still while on the run which I dunno if Bledsoe can do as good. Maybe you have seen some throws of Bledsoe on the run and know more on it.

But give Henson a chance NORS cuz I seriously think if Bledsoe should have some bad luck and get injured he wont get his job back from Henson. All Henson needs is some games and when he does watch out.

If he plays all 16 this year and has a great year and shows no signs of slowin down he could reach 50k and TD#300 as a Cowboy.

The thing that makes me a little worried NORS is this. Bledsoe has one of his best years and Parcells sees no reason to change QBs. You cant blame for BP for it either. Why get ridda a good thing.

What alota people dont think about in here is that if Bledsoe plays really good here in Dallas he will probaly be here another 5 years and Henson will end up gettin traded in 2006 or 2007 and we draft a young QB to learn under Bledsoe in 07 or 08.

2 great years by Bledsoe here in Dallas will be real bad for Henson unfortunately.

First, let me qualify by saying that if BP/Payton can design a system around Drew B's strengths and get him to do the things he needs to do, I think he can be OK. Like I have said before, to do what they did with the minimal talents of QC and VT, there is some coaching behind that.

However, on your point about the arm, it reminds me of Tom Donahoe. Supposedly, he was convinced to make the trade because he watched Bledsoe throwing in the wind and became enamoured with the arm.

Now the trade looks to be a blunder for him and he had to ditch Bledsoe to keep his job. Kind of reminds me of people fawning over Jeff George's arm when he couldn't do the rest of the things to be a successful QB.

The knock on Bledsoe is the blitz up the middle and holding on to the ball too long. Lets see if BP and Payton can fix that. If so, the team could have a good season. Call me skeptical for now.
