The whole point is that Dallas had their pick of the best, no front 7 player had been selected at #11. Dallas had its' choice and selected Ware, the creme of the crop.

I think had we picked earlier we may have gone from one of the best drafts in Dallas history to an awful one.

We'd have either drafted a WR and lost out on fixing the defense or reached...many thought #11 was kinda early for Ware...for a need and possibly caused a chain reaction that could have meant not getting Spears.

While I was 100% behind playing Henson and Romo those last 3 or 4 games, in hindsight we ended up drafting in pefect position.
