Will Ware Make Flozell Better?
Flozell's major struggle has always been the speed guys. But look at who the guy has practiced against all these years. Uhhh... well... nobody!
So while everyone is excited about our pass-rush possibilities with Ware, perhaps a significant added bonus will be that Flozell actually gets to practice against someone who will help him strengthen his most significant weakness.

Flo will always have something of a struggle against speed players - just the way he is built, the way his talent works, etc. His improvement in that area should be a mental process - Ware might help, but it is really up to him and his ability to concentrate and master the necessary footwork during a game to improve against speedsters.

True it is all up to Flo to develop those skills but having a legitimate speed rusher to practice against should make it easier for him to do the development.

Getting to see a speed guy every dayhould help Flo a little, but it's not that big of a factor.

I think it would be a factor. Flo won't like a rookie to show him up. Ware will figure out he isn't going to muscle him very often. So they both will benefit.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Well Flo and Vollers dominated Ware in the minicamp one on one drills. Adams struggled against Ekuban last season and gave up two sacks to him but manhandled Ware? I know it's early, but it does bother me a little. I am not worried about Adams, Ware is the one that needs to improve.

The question for the long run is, "Will Flo make Ware better?"

Yep. A better question might be will Adams make Ware a better pass rusher.

and the answer is yes. A DL can't help a OL improve that much, but an OL can help a DL improve. Having to go up against a talent like Flo will force Ware to become a better player. Then again, once Ware gets up to a high level Flo will have to start working too which may make him better, too.

Ware isn't beating anyone with his strength. If he doesn't get them with his speed he will get dominated.

I hope, if not this year, then next year that Ware gets into the weight room so that he could beat someone with his strength.

True, but straight out, I don't care. Aslong as he beats them... period.

How many LB's you know can go against one of the best players on a team OL, and beat them with pure strentgh. Ware has thebest atrrubte a LB needs, speed. Even the elite pass rushers have speed.(i.E Freeny). Ware will getstronger the longer he stay in the cowboys Offseason program, but he cant lose his speed.

Yep - it's a whole different beast than when he was playing for Troy. The talent level is light years better. Time will tell.

i think it will acctually help Flo alot, when you practice against your weakness then you usually have great gains especially because flo is looking like his is in great shape after this offseason.....for example i am a speed rushing DE for my high school, and last year i went up against a really strong yet somewhat slow LT every day in practice and as the weeks went by he became much better at being able to get his feet below his body and keep himself infront of me, which translated to less sacks he allowed durring games. i really think this year Flo will make the pro bowl due to that part of his game advancing to equal his run blocking.
