Amusing, but I am uncomfortable with it.

I'm more than willing to bash on a thug on an individual basis, but back in the day I posted on the free wheeling TSN boards, there were many times I got into it with Jints, Eagles, and Skins fans who were posting Most Wanted lineups on...this very team.

It always bothered me and I was one of the few NFL fans defending the Boys back then. Partially because I loved Irvin, liked Jimmy J. and realized there but for fortune goes MY team. You can be a class act like Tony Dungy, send all the right messages, then BOOM! you wake up for two weeks with players arrested.

Sometimes the team HAS been too lax with reaction to thuggery, and Dallas as much as anyone has cleaned up its act. But when Tags maintains the number of NFL "legal problems" parallels that of the wider society of men between the ages of 22 and 30, he's more than making excuses..he's saying with this demographic, no matter what you do, the stupidity and perceived invincibility of youth is gonna bite you on the arse.

Most of these guys are gonna grow up (and btw, that is ONE DUI on Johnny Abe, not multiple , and we can only be so lucky ours grow up faster.

Just to be picky, I don't see being a dope head as the same as being a thug. To me a thug is someone who is violent. Lots of dope heads aren't. Kyle Turley is a thug. Bill Romonawski was a thug.
Agreed

My vote for coach would be Dennis Green, ... wife beater.

No bigger thug than a man who hits a woman.

How about a vet QB for backup, didn't Warren Moon hit his wife too ?

Better add Terry Glenn then too.

He was, after all, arrested for 'assaulting' the mother of his oldest child, and then charged with felony intimidation of a witness.

As a woman I have no problem agreeing that the lowest form of human life is that which physcially abuses someone smaller and weaker.

But as an adult, I know domestic abuse charges involving the rich and famous, as in Terry's case, are not always what was first reported.

I got one.... former Seahawk Tommy Kane stabbed his wife to death in Montreal.

"They say it makes your testicles shrink,'' Bonds said. "I can tell you my testicles are the same size. They haven't shrunk. They're the same and work just the same as they always have."

Of course we are.

There shouldn't be any playing of favorites on this little moral superiority trip here.

And the final disposition of the case should make NO difference.

This is a very funny thread. I can only imagine what else is to come.

Is this all-time or not ?

I want to add Mark Chmura, Lawrence Taylor and Dexter Manley.

Todd Sauerbrun as the punter makes perfect sense. He had a DUI in Charlotte a few months back.

Agree LT Nostra.

Wait ...didn't know you were a woman. Hmmm, I'll have to re-strategize my comments to you in the future.

Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! (Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

Check this out. It's a very funny site.

http://www.cracksmoker.com/

The guy who runs it used to do a great job of keeping it up, but he's let the last year or so of thuggery go unattended.

Still fascinating, tho.

Caveat: you will laugh as you read it , but be holding your breath at the same time.

When it's one of yours, I mean.

The second lowest is that which laughs at injury to others.
