Default Another #1 for 2005?

Anybody think we get another #1 for next year?

I wouldn't be surprised if we continue to trade down.

I think we're gonna trade up, hopefully for Jones.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the team that is potentially looking at Jones calls Bill to gauge his interest in KJ.

Again, if we could trade up in the 2nd with our first 2nd and a 4th, hell yeah.

We need a RB, dammit. If that's Julius, Greg or Tatum it's a lot more questionable going into this season. Another year of "can he do it?" run game.

KJ. KJ. KJ.

I think that Bell is the guy. Parcells liked Jackson but picking up the extra picks was to much for him to say no to. And with that thought, I beleive that Parcells is going to be the Headcoach beyond his contract. He wants to see this thing through.
Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind if they could get another first, but I dont see any team giving a 1st for just one of the 2nd's we have. I think Bill still wants some players that can come in now, so I wouldnt be surprised to see Dallas use all three first day picks to grab potential starters.

Parcells knows this is the last coaching job.

He isn't going to get another job and his age, and particularly after coaching the Cowboys at this stage of his career.

I think Parcells is here as long as he wants to be. Personally, I don't think he hangs it up until we reach the superbowl or until he decides that we're incapable.

I could see him here until 2007, possibly beyond.

Exactly what I was thinking. He may be using this year alot like he did last year in finding out what he has while plugging some holes. But next year makng enough of an impact for a real Super Bowl run.
He's having fun it seems and I just believe (hope) that he plans on being around for a few years after the original contract.
