Playmaker hitting on my girl?????

FYI- Playmaker still lives!!!

How is this for a kick in the arse, one of my idols from the glory days, none other than Michael Irvin tries to pick up my girlfriend who is vacationing in Ft Lauderdale for a few days with some of her friends. Before I hear all the smart remarks about having a girlfriend in Ft Lauderdale without me, let me me tell you what happened. I get a call early Sunday morning in which I get told all excitedly, "you will never guess who I met"??? Her and friends, all attractive, had gone to a club located inside the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL...Club Passion...where they ran into none other than Michael Irvin....At first they ask to have a picture taken, in which he wasnt to eager to do so, then the Club Manager came over and ask him to do it at which point he EAGERLY accepted. The sister of my girlfriend knew the mng so it help move things along. Once the picture was taken he strikes up a conversation with my girlfriend, trying to get her to hang out for drinks, actually all of the girls, he then eventually grabbed her cell phone and put his number in it, telling her to call him in NY in 2 weeks, that he'll be up that way...They all left right after that thinking he was a jerk...At first I am like cool, Michael Irvin, I would have loved to meet him myself....then as the story unfolds, I am like telling myself, hold on here Playmaker, thats my girl your hitting on.....Dripping in necklaces that displayed the names of his kids, he was supposedly as cocky as expected, touchy feely to the extent he was told to watch it.....There you go the Playmaker lives, thriving in sunny south florida, hey its home to him......Maybe its me, but it will be funny how watching ESPN Gameday will never be the same....

ps....maybe if it was Emmitt or Troy I would be different, after all they were my favorites!!!

LOL, Sportsbabe! My first thought was when and if you'd see that.

Three more thoughts.

1) It's a story for your future wife to tell your grandkids (when they're old enough) about someday.

2) If your girl is beautiful enough to get hit on by MI, and loyal enough to you to resist, marry her. And I should hope if Anna Kornikova put the make on you, you'd be as equally unimpressed.

3) MI makes his presence known everywhere he goes. In Miami, giving advice to Ricky, getting his pic taken with a fan who posts here, and now, flirting with your lady. I laughed that you said he was flirting with ALL of them, tho. Somethings never change.

Michael has always been a playa ya know. But hey...you can't blame a guy for trying to hit on a good looking female who is out on the town without a man and no wedding ring. That's fair game in just about anyone's book (except his wife and her boyfriend)

Well, Sportsbabe, I think Jules has caught himself a prize catch.

You've got hordes of sports groupies out there actually hunting down pro athletes, past as well as present. Another huge number who may not be on the prowl, but would be flattered enough by the attention to fall for it. And a smaller slice who would just literally click with the guy and go for it. Very few women, I have observed, no matter how intelligent, educated, or "already taken" can resist some of these charmers when they turn it on. Cripe, Lawyer Milloy put his stamp on half the female professors at Bryant University, not to mention nine-tenths of the co-eds. (I hear he's finally tying the knot himself.)

I say this girl of Jules needs to be taken off the market. Pronto.

A few years back...My girlfriend and I were visiting Pleasure Island @ Disney and we see none other than Tony Dorsett introducing the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (they were performing on stage at P.I.). Right away his eyes catches my g-friend and I, of course, notice it. So I sent her to get him and bring him over so I could meet him. Use it to your advantage, If your g-friend is hot, take it as a compliment. Besides, are you exactly sure that she told Mike that she had a boyfiend?
