6 months ago I got back into the construction business but this time I work on the contracts rather than the projects.
I am a writer for a small film studio that does documentaries. In particular I write about the Old West and gunfights, etc. I have been pitching one of my scripts as a full length feature film. I've had some good nibbles, but no bite yet. I have a book offer on the table and have ideas for about 4 or 5 that aren't already written. Prior to taking my new job I was on the site in between writing stints.
I invest in Real Estate. That is how I am building my retirement.

We stopped midways to eat at some small hole in the wall diner that looked like it was part of set for Gunsmoke...kept waiting for Miss Kitty, Sam and Festus to pop out of the back room lol.

I'm about to send a request in to go to Las Vegas in Oct. for a Citrix Training Seminar. 4 days at Mandalay Bay...not that I'll see anything but the conference rooms.

You have been dealing with inferior engineers. The best designs are intuitive and should be able to be put together without reading a long winded novel posing as instruction manuals. If you can't look at the picture on the box to put it together then what's the point?

No telling but you would have been the wiser for it.

Maybe.
But at least he'd have come home with something more interesting to talk about than lobster tacos.

I doubt it. No offense to Ad, but lobster tacos seem pretty darn fascinating.
