Default Detroit On The Schedule
why the hell do we play Detroit so much?It seems every year we play them...i'd rather play the Texans.

My favorite channel.

I'd rather play Detroit.

The Texans only goal in life is to beat us and the Lions are much easier wins.

The Texans are in the AFC. We can only play them once every four years when we play their division. The NFC opponents are based on a formula where you play are the teams from one of the other three divisions and then one team from each of the other two divisions which coincide with your ranking.

The formula has changed through the years but there is a method to the madness.

Because both teams sucked during 2000 to 2002, and we play them this year because of the rotation...

Sorry, but I am from Detroit. I am glad that they played the Lions the past 3 years. The bad thing was that Detroit had the Cowboys number up until last year.

There is more truth in that statement than most people realise.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
