Don't be shocked when J. Jones puts up better numbers than all the other backs drafted before him.

And now BP is his coach. Hope he's ready to change.

Okay Rack, we haven't gotten along in the past (under my previous username on the old forum) but I do respect your football opinion. Now putting Notre Dame bias aside, what are your thoughts of Julius Jones and his prospects with the Dallas Cowboys?

Default don't worry

It is going to be okay.

Remember, Spags said this week he suspected JJ was the guy they had targeted.

I think the Cowboys were forced to take a running back here. It's obvious. They gambled on backs dropping to them into the 2nd round and lost IMO. Greg Jones & Mewelde Moore are the only first day picks left. The Texans gave up 3 picks in this years draft for a chance to move up and take Babin. Now how do you justify that?????????

No. It's not going to be okay.

Let's just hope and pray that Buffalo has a horrible season next year.

Default Julius Jones is no Emiitt, but he's at least an upgrade over THam.

While I would very much like to be proven wrong and eat lots of crow about Julius Jones, however...at this point, while he is a definite upgrade over Hambrick, (which certainly isn't hard to do) I think Jones is a long way from being very much more than that, a mere upgrade over Hambrick. Again...I would love nothing better than to have Jones prove me totally wrong, and make me eat "lots and lots" of crow, however - until he actually proves it on the field, I will have my doubts. Believe me when I say, I "hope" Jones makes me eat tons and tons or crow, I'll eat it by the truckload...although he'll have to show it on the field before I'm willing to eat it.

Got to love those negatives. Not self-motivated, too lazy to digest the playbook, not mentally tough, and let's minor injuries linger... Just the type of back we need as our featured back.
