Default Does anyone see Danny Snyder throwing in the towel?

With such poor drafting by these guys, year after year. The loss of some core players in Pierce, Coles, and Champ Bailey a year ago. Lavar being hurt and disgruntled. Salary cap woes. Off the field problems with Sean Taylor. Joe Gibbs health problems. Bottomline, just bone head moves and problems galore.

Ya think Little Napolean will give up the Skins?

I think he is too big an egomaniac to just give up and go away. I suppose if the fan base eventually gets up in arms enough he might either sell or move the team. Although I don't think the NFL would approve moving the team out of Washington.

It's an interesting question and it's hard to tell, but IMO if he's making money he will stay.

The obvious answer is I Hope Not!!! Seriously though, I really would be surprised if he did. Obscenely rich guys don't like to admit they got in over their heads.

Worst case scenario for us would be him selling out. Next worse case would be for him to finally admit to himself that he don't know diddley about football and to hire a real football man as GM to run the team.

The best thing that ever happened to the (now) Titans was to move out of Houston because Bud Adams stayed in Houston and with them off in another state he was not constantly messing with the football people running the team. As long as Snyder keeps his nose in the teams business they will be drowning in their own misery.

The longer he stays the worse it will get. He might get up there with BIdwell, Irsay, etc as the most hated owner in NFL history. But the more he messes up the skins the more I smile. I guess, some day, we will want someone else so that the rivalry-which hasn't been that for years- gets some life in it.

Bud Adams still pisses me off the way he handled that move.....mainly the one season he screwed over Memphis.

You know that is the problem that I have with all of this Snyder stuff. It was a lot more fun hating the Skins when we were both good teams and duked it out every year for the NFC East. Now they are just sort of pathetic...

But I certainly don't want them to improve until we are back on top first

There are so many things about Bud Adams that have pissed me off over the years that I have lost count...What a Maroon (to quote Bugs Bunny).

Hey, the 'skins are going at the very least 10-6 this year.
According to extremeskins.com, that is.

Its funny how, when you get right down to it, that few Cowboys fans on this MB are completely unrealistic about their team. The overwhelming majority on extremeskins truly believe the 'skins are going to be a good team this year.
Its amazing and sad at the same time.

He wanted Memphis to pay for their travel costs but the only time the team came to town was on game day.

Not as long as they are THE most lucrative NFL franchise.
