What did we learn tonight?
1. The sky is NOT falling.
2. Crayton has all but solified the #3 wR spot, and Morgan may be looking for a job.
3. Romo is the leader for the backup QB position.
4. Marian Barber is "one of those." A bad fumble and nearly a second may find him on the pine. He put together a few good runs though.
5. Ware is no bust, no fluke, or whatever word you want to enter for our past 1st round DE draftees. This guy is the real deal.

6. Condo is a pretty solid long snapper.

I do not think we should waste a spot on Morgan. But who takes the fourth spot? Copper was nonexistent tonight.

6. Pettiti might be OK at RT.
7. Beriault made the team.

All this Morgan should be cut talk just cracks me up. He isn't going anywhere. There is absolutely NOTHING behind him.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

K Thornton will be a solid backup for Ware.
Any weakensses we have in the LB corps are on the left side.
James made some mistakes (Parcells on his butt coming off the field)
Burnett had a couple of nice plays (improving...not there yet)

I honestly do not think that Morgan will want to stick around if he doesn't get that 3rd spot. I don't know what other options he has in the NFL, if any, but I don't think he will settle for 4th. He may be a ble to find a spot on Seattles roster though....

He doesn't have a choice if we don't cut him. What is going to do, quit? We would still own his rights. It's not like he can go to another team and try to gt a job. The simple truth is if he doesn't like being #4, do something about it.

I think Merrit has shown more than Morgan and will be our #4 guy. Morgan may be too high priced for a #5 receiver and I don't remember seeing him on STs. I can very easily see us cutting a receiver who is not very versitle and not very reliable and yet higher priced than the guys ahead of him. I agree that after Merrit at #4 we have nothing much...but I'm including Morgan.

How about throwing a jersey in the coach's face.

1) no its not falling, but there's still work to be done
2) Dont be surprised to see crayton emerge as the number 2 guy before the season is over, especially if glenn isn't healthy a whole year which is is MO. And yes i agree morgans days are numbered.
3) Romo is definitely the clear cut #2. Henson is unbearable.
4) Barber will be solid depth this year, nothing more. He'll shine on special teams maybe though.
5) DEMARCUS WARE IS A BEAST
